Whether you’re a one-person operation or a growing business with a full team, we’re here to help. Get in touch and let’s talk about what we can do for you.
IT support for organisations where the question is governance, not fixing laptops.
At your size IT stopped being a support function a while ago. It’s an operational dependency, a line in the risk register, and something a board member asks about. You’re likely running multiple sites, holding sensitive data, and answering to frameworks like ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus or something sector specific. This page is about what we do for organisations at this scale, and, just as importantly, when we’d tell you we’re not the right fit.
You almost certainly have an IT team. The issue is rarely capability, it’s capacity and specialism.
Your team knows the business inside out and spends its week keeping it running. The security tooling needs someone watching it properly. The ISO evidence needs collecting before the audit, not during it. The infrastructure refresh has been on the plan for two years. Somebody needs to work out whether Copilot is a productivity gain or a data governance problem waiting to happen. All of it is important, none of it is urgent, so none of it happens.
Then there’s the visibility problem. As estates grow across sites, departments and acquisitions, the picture fragments. Access protocols drift, documentation ages, shadow systems appear, and nobody can say with confidence who can reach what. That’s uncomfortable on an ordinary Tuesday and genuinely serious the week a customer audits you or something goes wrong.
At 250+ people, your exposure isn’t a broken laptop. It’s an unevidenced control, an unpatched system nobody owns, and a plan that hasn’t been updated since the last reorganisation.
As headcount and data volume grow, so does the surface area. Disparate systems, patchy documentation, unclear access protocols and compliance gaps compound quietly. A single incident or a failed audit costs you in downtime, in reputation, in contracts, and potentially in fines. None of those are recoverable with a quick fix.
There’s a commercial edge to it too. Increasingly your customers assess you as part of their own supply chain risk. Being unable to evidence your security posture doesn’t just create exposure, it loses you work.
What organisations your size need is clarity and consistency: a documented estate, controls that are implemented and evidenced, a roadmap tied to budget and business goals, and specialist capability available when your own team needs it. Not a provider who turns up when something breaks, and not a vast national supplier where you become a ticket number.
A long term roadmap aligned to your goals, budget and compliance obligations, covering infrastructure lifecycle, risk, growth and change. Reviewed with you on a proper cadence, in a form you can take to a board.
Support with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR and sector frameworks, from gap analysis through implementation to the evidence pack. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus ourselves, so we’re asking you to do things we’ve already done.
Endpoint monitoring, vulnerability scanning, threat detection and a response process, rather than waiting for somebody to report that something feels wrong.
Your IT team keeps ownership and the business knowledge. We provide the specialist security work, the tooling, the extra hands for projects, and cover for holidays, illness and out of hours. Most of our largest relationships work this way.
Two minutes, a handful of questions, and a straight answer – including if that answer is “you don’t need much”. No sales call at the end unless you ask for one.
We could list all four packages and let you work it out. Here’s what we’d actually say if you rang us.
Professional gives you the strongest security stack we offer, plus Cyber Essentials tools and certification support, which at your size is normally a requirement rather than a nice to have. It’s the right foundation.
What sits on top of it is the conversation. Organisations of 250 people and above usually need some combination of co-managed working alongside an internal team, out of hours arrangements, multi-site coverage, framework specific compliance work, and project capacity for whatever is on the roadmap. That isn’t a package, it’s a scope, and we’d rather build it properly with you than have you guess from a price list.
So the honest answer is: start with an audit. You get a clear picture of your estate, your gaps and your risks in writing, whether or not you go on to work with us. Then we talk about what the right arrangement looks like.
The Professional IT Support Service is for businesses that want the best — complete IT support, the strongest security we offer, and Cyber Essentials tools and certification support all in one package. If you need to protect your reputation, meet compliance requirements, and have confidence your IT is in safe hands, this is it.
Key Features
Every package is unlimited support with no ticket caps and no per-incident charges. Rolling monthly terms are available, longer terms carry a discount, and not-for-profit pricing applies across the range.
Devices, systems, licences, access and dependencies, written down and kept current. If your provider can’t produce this, they’re guessing and so are you.
Multi-factor authentication, conditional access, privileged access management and endpoint protection, with the audit trail to prove it rather than describe it.
Covering Microsoft 365, servers and line of business systems, with a restore that has actually been rehearsed and a recovery time somebody has agreed to.
What gets replaced when, what it costs, and what risk you carry in the meantime. Forecastable, not surprising.
At your scale the question isn’t response time targets, it’s whether the genuinely business critical thing gets picked up ahead of everything else. That depends on a provider who knows your estate well enough to tell the difference.
Continuity of relationship matters more than headcount. You should know who’s looking after you and be able to reach them.
Including when the answer is that you need a specialist we’re not.
At 250+ people, changing IT provider is a governed project, and we treat it as one.
Estate, access, security posture, backups, infrastructure lifecycle and compliance position. Delivered in writing, in a form you can circulate internally, whether or not you proceed.
Scope, sequence, owners, dates and rollback positions, agreed with your internal team and with whoever needs to approve it.
Monitoring, security and backup first, then by site or department. Nothing lands on the whole organisation at once, and there’s no weekend where everyone holds their breath.
Regular reviews, a maintained roadmap, reporting your leadership can actually use, and the compliance evidence accumulating as you go rather than being assembled in a panic each year.
Questions larger organisations ask us
Fair question, and the honest answer is that it depends what you need. We’re a specialist team, not a national provider, and that’s deliberate: you get senior people who know your business rather than a rotating cast at a huge service desk. We hold the same accreditations as far bigger suppliers, which is usually what procurement is checking. Where we’re not the right answer, typically true 24 hour multilingual cover or a global estate, we’ll tell you at the first meeting rather than the third.
We don’t work to fixed SLA response times, and that’s deliberate. A service level agreement treats every ticket as a clock: a major outage and a slow printer both get the response time somebody wrote into a contract. We work on priority instead. If your issue is urgent, it’s treated as urgent, straight away, ahead of whatever else is in the queue. If it isn’t, it gets done properly rather than rushed to hit a target. The practical difference is that nobody has to argue their way up a priority ladder to be taken seriously.
Co-manage. They keep ownership, the business knowledge and the relationships. We bring the security tooling and the specialist work, extra capacity for projects, and cover when people are away. It’s an augmentation model, not a replacement one, and we’re happy to say that to your team directly.
Yes, from gap analysis through implementation to the evidence pack. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus ourselves, and we’re an NCSC Assured Service Provider and IASME certified Cyber Advisor.
Yes, and we’d rather help you answer them accurately than help you answer them well. Where there’s a gap, we’ll tell you what it takes to close it and how long.
With governance, not licences. Rolling AI tooling across an estate with unclear permissions tends to surface every access problem you already had, at speed. We run an AI Readiness Assessment that looks at exactly that, and our AI consultancy work starts from making it safe before making it useful.
Yes. Consistent policy and security across locations, plus remote and hybrid workers, with support that doesn’t depend on which office someone is sitting in.
Standard support is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with out of hours cover available by arrangement. Within that, we work on priority rather than fixed response time targets, so a critical incident is picked up as a critical incident rather than slotted into a contractual window. At your size the out of hours arrangement is worth scoping properly rather than buying off a page, so it’s a conversation we’d want to have early.
The packages are per user and transparent, and they’re the starting point. Where the scope includes co-managed working, out of hours or project work, we quote it openly and show you what each element costs rather than presenting one number.
You’d be in good company. We support growing businesses across Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Somerset and Swindon, and we’re an NCSC Assured Service Provider, Cyber Essentials Plus certified, and ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 accredited. The same standards our largest customers audit us against, applied to a team of thirty just as carefully.
If you’re not ready to talk to anyone yet, the buyer’s guide covers what to look for and what to avoid. If you are, we’ll give you a straight answer, including if that answer is that you’re fine as you are.
There is nothing more annoying than an IT glitch that stops you working efficiently. However, knowing you have access to immediate attention to the glitch and a solution to it, is very reassuring and that is provided by We Do Your IT. We have so appreciated the availability and response given by the team at We Do Your IT, enabling us to remain a productive firm.
