DMARC is an email authentication policy that tells receiving mail servers what to do with emails that fail authentication — report them, quarantine them, or reject them. Without it, anyone can send email pretending to be from your domain.
SPF records have a hard limit of 10 DNS lookups. Many businesses exceed this without realising, breaking SPF validation. OnDMARC automatically flattens SPF records to stay within the limit.
